St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center Meal Program

Hot meals are offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am – 2pm. Our licensed kitchen serves 70 to 75 people each day, totaling 600 people per month.

Important to the Community

Due to several churches closing we became the main food pantry in our area. We serve men, women, children, and the elderly in our area, which includes 48504 and 48505 zip codes.

Due to transportation problems, many of those who come to us cannot get to the local soup kitchen, making our location in the Civic Park neighborhood easy access to those in the surrounding neighborhoods. The people who come to us have come to depend on St. Luke’s food Pantry on a regular basis.

Thank You to our Volunteers

The food for our meal program is purchased from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan; our meals are prepared fresh on a daily basis. Using the resources that we have our cooks become creative, serving delicious meals made from the basic ingredients available to us.

We offer the opportunity for various community organizations to come to St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center, volunteering to cook and serve a meal to our participants.

You can help us provide hot meals to those in our area by donating. Join us in the fight against hunger by becoming a sponsor of our food pantry. We are in need of individuals and businesses throughout the community who will help support our local meal program.
